Applications are open for the Alagene Bio-Defense Challenge!
A complete path to PoC together with MAFAT / DDR&D, Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), IIBR and our partner ecosystem, we’re bringing people from different disciplines together to explore real defense needs through biology.

We invite researchers, engineers, innovators, entrepreneurs and domain experts to apply.

No biotechnology background, existing team or fully formed idea is required. Bring your expertise, a fresh perspective, an unmet need or an opportunity you believe is worth exploring. The application is a chance to introduce yourself – not to submit a finished solution.

Selected participants will work with Alagene and dedicated mentors to develop a clear product concept, an R&D development plan, a POC budget and a validation plan, supported by scientific, business, regulatory and IP expertise.

Prizes and opportunities include an advisory package, the opportunity to pitch to investors at the final event, and Venture Committee review for potential POC development with Alagene.
