Dr. Michal Fisher

Dr. Michal Fisher is a licensed patent attorney since 2004, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. Michal is an elected board member of the IPAA – Israel Patent Attorneys Association. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, of the Graduate course in Patent Law and Practice.
Dr. Fisher specializes in the strategic management of intellectual property portfolios, patent and trademark drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions, also patent oppositions, portfolio evaluations, clearance opinions, client pre-investment due diligence, and litigation support.
Dr. Fisher holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physical and Analytical Chemistry from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to establishing the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Fisher was a senior partner at a large Patent Attorney firm.
Dr. Fisher is an invited speaker at several forums, she lectured at the IPAA ‘Advanced corporate PA training program’ and at the Israel Patent Office’s training seminar for new examiners. She is also a member of LES Israel (Licensing Executives Israel). Dr. Nathalie Friedman

Dr. Nathalie Friedman is a licensed patent attorney since 2013, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions. Dr. Friedman specializes in the strategic management of intellectual property portfolios.
Dr. Friedman holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to establishing the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Friedman worked as a patent attorney at a large Patent Attorney firm.
Dr. Friedman is an invited speaker at several forums, she served as a mentor and lecturer of the MedTech Raanana Innovation Center Accelerator and lectured twice in the course ‘Biomedical Industry: Fundamentals and Horizons’ at the Faculty of Medicine, of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Eran Silverman

Dr. Eran Silverman is a licensed patent attorney since 2008, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. He specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions in various fields, including medical devices, molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedicals. Dr. Silverman also specializes in military and civil technologies.
Dr. Silverman holds a B.Sc. degree in Biology, M.Sc. & Ph.D. degrees (Direct Track) in Biological Chemistry & Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After receiving his Ph.D. and prior to starting his career as a patent attorney, Dr. Silverman was a research associate at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in the department of Pharmacology in the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado, USA. Dr. Silverman also established the Molecular Lab facility of the Frankel Laboratory, Center for Stem Cell Research and Experimental Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Schneider Children’s Hospital, Petah-Tikva, Israel, in collaboration with the Felsenstein Medical Research Center of the Tel-Aviv University. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Silverman was a partner at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Dr. Jonathan Silman
Partner
Dr. Jonathan Silman is a licensed patent attorney since 2018, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. He specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, and patentability analysis.
Dr. Silman holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Tel-Aviv University. His Ph.D. research focused on topics in the Foundations of Quantum Theory. Following his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Silman spent five years as a postdoctoral researcher in the Quantum Information Laboratory at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Prior to joining the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Silman worked as a scientific advisor at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Dr. Liora Strichman-Almashanu

Dr. Liora Strichman-Almashanu is a licensed patent attorney since 2009, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, patentability analyses, and freedom to operate opinions in various fields of life sciences, including molecular biology, genetics, immunology, cell biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, biomedical industry.
Dr. Strichman-Almashanu holds a B.A. degree in Biology from the Technion, an M.Sc. degree in Medical Sciences/Immunology from the Technion School of Medicine, and a Ph.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After receiving her Ph.D. and prior to starting her career as a patent attorney, Dr. Strichman-Almashanu was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the NIH, and at the Weizmann institute, and a staff scientist at the Weizmann institute. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Strichman-Almashanu was a patent attorney at a large patent attorney firm.
Yael Oz (Sofer)

Ms. Yael Oz (Sofer) is a licensed patent attorney since 2014, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She specializes in patent drafting and prosecution worldwide with a focus on emerging technologies such as: AI, VR, AR, big data, ML, block chain, cyber and the like.
Ms. Oz (Sofer) holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Ms. Oz (Sofer) worked as a patent attorney, at large Patent Attorney firms.
Dr. Janice Rubin

Dr. Rubin holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Following her Ph.D. studies, Dr. Rubin spent two years as a postdoctoral researcher at RWTH Aachen, Germany, and a year as a postdoctoral researcher at Tel Aviv University. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Rubin worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a patent attorney at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Adv. Jenny Shostak is an Attorney at Law, member of Israel Bar Association since 2019. She joined Fisher Friedman group in 2021. Jenny specializes in trademark and design filling and prosecution.
Jenny holds an LLB degree from the College of Law and Business in Ramat Gan. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman, Jenny worked as a trademark attorney at a large law firm in Israel.

Dr. Shaul Mezan

Dr. Shaul Mezan is a licensed patent attorney since 2023, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. Dr. Mezan holds B.Sc., M.SC., and Ph.D. degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Prior to joining the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Mezan worked for several years as the Chief Biologist at the computational drug discovery startup company Pepticom Ltd.
Olga Korchev

Ms. Olga Korchev joined Fisher Friedman IP Group in 2021 and is a licensed patent attorney since 2023, Israel Patent and Trademark Office.
She holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. (cum laude) degrees in Materials Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, specializing in semiconductor devices. Before joining FIPG, Ms. Korchev worked as an R&D engineer in biotech, as a technical consultant for a US-based law firm, and as a data analyst in Unit 8200 of the Israeli Intelligence Corps.
Oshrat Tzhayik Shahrabani

Dr. Oshrat Tzhayik Shahrabani holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Chemistry from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and a Ph.D. in Nano Chemistry from Bar Ilan University.
Dr. Tzhayik Shahrabani is also an Attorney at Law, and a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2007. She holds an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University.
Lena Gershtein
Head of Paralegal Department
Ms. Lena Gershtein is an IP paralegal since 2007 and heads Fisher Friedman’s paralegal department. Lena specializes in management of IP portfolios, docketing and filing of patent, design and trademark applications, with the Israel Patent and Trademark Office as well as with Patent Offices worldwide. She regularly interfaces with the group’s clients regarding their IP portfolios and provides updates, status reports and budget forecasts.
Ms. Gershtein holds an Interdisciplinary BA in Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Ms. Gershtein worked as a paralegal at a large Patent Attorney firm.
Efi Guterman

Ms. Efi Guterman is an Intellectual Property paralegal since 2010 and Attorney at Law, member of Israel Bar Association since 2014. Efi specializes in filing patent, design and trademark applications with the Israel Patent and Trademark Office as well as with Patent Offices worldwide, handling various prosecution, examination and registration procedures.
Before joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Efi worked as a paralegal and IL Patent & Trademark Attorney at several known Patent Attorney firms. Efi holds an LL.B. degree from the College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon LeZion and B.A. Behavioral Sciences degree from Judea and Samaria College in Ariel.
Ronnie Stark

Ms. Ronnie Stark is an Intellectual Property paralegal since 2015. In addition to assisting in prosecution matters, she is in charge of conducting formalities review of applications and opinion letters prior to filing/submitting. Before joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Ronnie worked as a patent paralegal at a large Patent Attorney firm. Ms. Stark earned her BA in Far Eastern Studies and MA in International Affairs, both from Columbia University. In addition, she has paralegal certification from Florida International University. After making Aliyah, Ms. Stark was an editor of publications for a number of years at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine.

Marketing Communications and Accounting
Ms. Noam Fisher joined Fisher Friedman IP Group in 2017. She serves as Fisher Friedman’s marketing communications manager and is in charge of accounting matters, working with local and international clients and associates. Ms. Fisher holds a BA in Communications from the Sammy Ofer School of Communications of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC). Prior to joining the group, Noam was a social media and content manager at Create, specializing in User Experience Design.
Maya Raveh

Ms. Maya Raveh is an Intellectual Property paralegal at Fisher Friedman IP Group since 2021.
Ms. Raveh holds a BA in Psychology and Business Management from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
Prior to joining the group, Maya worked at a leading native advertising agency, heading a team tasked with providing technical and logistical solutions to the company’s leading clients.
