Dr. Michal Fisher

Founder, Partner

Dr. Michal Fisher is a licensed patent attorney since 2004, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She is also Adjunct Professor at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, of the Graduate course in Patent Law and Practice.

Dr. Fisher specializes in the strategic management of intellectual property portfolios, patent and trademark drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions, also patent oppositions, portfolio evaluations, clearance opinions, client pre-investment due diligence, and litigation support.

Dr. Fisher holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry (Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physical and Analytical Chemistry from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. Prior to establishing the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Fisher was a senior partner at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Dr. Nathalie Friedman

Founder, Partner

Dr. Nathalie Friedman is a licensed patent attorney since 2013, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions.

Dr. Friedman holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prior to establishing the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Friedman worked as a patent attorney at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Dr. Eran Silverman

Partner

Dr. Eran Silverman is a licensed patent attorney since 2008, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. He specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, patentability analysis, validity and freedom to operate opinions in various fields, including medical devices, molecular biology, cell biology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, biomedical industry. Dr. Silverman also specializes in military and civil technologies.

Dr. Silverman holds a B.Sc. degree in Biology, M.Sc. & Ph.D. degrees (Direct Track) in Biological Chemistry & Molecular Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After receiving his Ph.D. and prior to starting his career as a patent attorney, Dr. Silverman was a research associate at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in the department of Pharmacology in the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado, USA. Dr. Silverman also established the Molecular Lab facility of the Frankel Laboratory, Center for Stem Cell Research and Experimental Bone Marrow Transplantation at the Schneider Children’s Hospital, Petah-Tikva, Israel, in collaboration with the Felsenstein Medical Research Center of the Tel-Aviv University. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Silverman was a partner at a large Patent Attorney firm.  

Dr. Liora Bogin

Partner

Dr. Liora Bogin is a licensed patent attorney since 2004, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. Dr. Bogin joined Fisher Friedman IP Group in 2020 as a partner.

She has experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and in analyzing third party patents for the evaluation of freedom to operate or validity. Dr. Bogin specializes in the fields of biotechnology, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. She consults on various intellectual property issues, such as patentability, inventorship and IP strategies, including building strong patent portfolio and product life cycle strategies. 

Dr. Bogin holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia, an M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Bogin was a partner at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Dr. Irit Gordon

Senior Patent Attorney

Dr. Irit Gordon joined Fisher Friedman IP Group in January 2019 as a Senior Patent Attorney, leading FIPG’s pharmaceutical practice. Dr. Gordon is both a licensed patent attorney, since 2002 as well as a member of the Israel Bar Association since 2009. She has extensive experience in handling patent oppositions in Israel, in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, as well as in drafting freedom to operate and clearance opinions, with a special focus in the areas of pharmaceuticals, chemistry and biology.

Dr. Gordon’s practice also includes patent drafting, worldwide patent prosecution, patent strategy planning and portfolio management.

Dr. Gordon holds a B.Sc. in Life Sciences as well as an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Tel Aviv University. She received her LLB from Kiryat Ono College. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Gordon was a partner at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Dr. Jonathan Silman

Patent Attorney

Dr. Jonathan Silman is a licensed patent attorney since 2018, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. He specializing in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, and patentability analysis.

Dr. Silman holds B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Physics from Tel-Aviv University. His Ph.D. research focused on topics in the Foundations of Quantum Theory. Following his Ph.D. studies, Dr. Silman spent five years as a postdoctoral researcher in the Quantum Information Laboratory at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Prior to joining the Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Silman worked as a scientific advisor at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Hadas Weisz

Patent Attorney

Ms. Hadas Weisz is a licensed patent attorney since 2021, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She joined Fisher Friedman in 2020 as a Scientific Advisor. Ms. Weisz specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, infringement analysis, and patentability analysis.

Ms. Weisz holds a B.Sc. in Materials Engineering from Ben-Gurion University in the Negev, with a focus on electronic materials and semiconductors.

Adv. Jenny Shostak

Attorney at Law

Adv. Jenny Shostak is an Attorney at Law, member of Israel Bar Association since 2019. She joined Fisher Friedman group in 2021. Jenny specializes in trademark and design filling and prosecution.

Jenny holds an LLB degree from the College of Law and Business in Ramat Gan. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman, Jenny worked as a trademark attorney at a large law firm in Israel.

Olga Korchev

Scientific Advisor

Ms. Olga Korchev joined Fisher Friedman IP Group in 2021 as a Scientific Advisor.

She holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Materials Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, specializing in semiconductor devices. Before joining FIPG, Ms. Korchev worked as an R&D Engineer in biotech, and as a technical consultant for a US-based law firm.

Lena Gershtein

Head of Paralegal Department

Ms. Lena Gershtein is an IP paralegal since 2007 and heads Fisher Friedman’s paralegal department. Lena specializes in management of IP portfolios, docketing and filing of patent, design and trademark applications, with the Israel Patent and Trademark Office as well as with Patent Offices worldwide. She regularly interfaces with the group’s clients regarding their IP portfolios and provides updates, status reports and budget forecasts.

Ms. Gershtein holds an Interdisciplinary BA in Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Ms. Gershtein worked as a paralegal at a large Patent Attorney firm.

Karen Moses

Senior Paralegal

Ms. Karen Moses is an Intellectual Property paralegal since 2011. Before joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Karen worked as an IL Patent & Trademark Paralegal at a large Patent Attorney firm. She was also the assistant of the President of the AIPPI Israel organization 2016-2018, and acted as assistant to the treasurer of AIPPI Israel 2012-2016.
Ms. Moses is fluent in four languages – French, English, Hebrew, and Dutch.

Efi Guterman

Paralegal

Ms. Efi Guterman is an Intellectual Property paralegal since 2010 and Attorney at Law, member of Israel Bar Association since 2014. Efi specializes in filing patent, design and trademark applications with the Israel Patent and Trademark Office as well as with Patent Offices worldwide, handling various prosecution, examination and registration procedures.

Before joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Efi worked as a paralegal and IL Patent & Trademark Attorney at several known Patent Attorney firms. 
Efi holds an LL.B. degree from the College of Management Academic Studies in Rishon LeZion and B.A. Behavioral Sciences degree from Judea and Samaria College  in Ariel.

Ronnie Stark

Paralegal

Ms. Ronnie Stark is an Intellectual Property paralegal since 2015. In addition to assisting in prosecution matters, she is in charge of conducting formalities review of applications and opinion letters prior to filing/submitting. Before joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Ronnie worked as a patent paralegal at a large Patent Attorney firm. Ms. Stark earned her BA in Far Eastern Studies and MA in International Affairs, both from Columbia University. In addition, she has paralegal certification from Florida International University. After making Aliyah, Ms. Stark was an editor of publications for a number of years at Tel Aviv University Sackler School of Medicine.

Noam Fisher

Marketing Communications and Accounting

Ms. Noam Fisher joined Fisher Friedman IP Group in 2017. She serves as Fisher Friedman’s marketing communications manager and is in charge of accounting matters, working with local and international clients and associates. Ms. Fisher holds a BA in Communications from the Sammy Ofer School of Communications of the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC). Prior to joining the group, Noam was a social media and content manager at Create, specializing in User Experience Design.

Maya Raveh

Paralegal

Ms. Maya Raveh is an Intellectual Property paralegal at Fisher Friedman IP Group since 2021.
Ms. Raveh holds a BA in Psychology and Business Management from Ben Gurion University of the Negev.
Prior to joining the group, Maya worked at a leading native advertising agency, heading a team tasked with providing technical and logistical solutions to the company’s leading clients.

Rimona Zlatin

Paralegal

Ms. Rimona Zlatin is an Intellectual Property Paralegal at Fisher Friedman IP Group since 2020.
Ms. Zlatin holds a BA in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University and an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from De Anza College in Cupertino, CA.
Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Rimona worked at a US based law firm.

Shira Kuris-Vernik

Marketing & Business Development Consultant

Mrs. Shira Kuris-Vernik is the firm’s Marketing & Business Development consultant since the beginning of 2020.
She is an experienced marketing professional, with over fifteen years of expertise in B2B marketing and business development at Israel’s leading IP firms. Shira has comprehensive knowledge of marcom,  branding and management of digital marketing.
Shira holds a B.A in Political Science from Tel-Aviv University and is a graduate of the Digital Content Management course of Digitalent.
