Dr. Liora Strichman-Almashanu

Dr. Liora Strichman-Almashanu is a partner and senior patent attorney at Fisher Friedman IP Group (FIPG), and has been a registered patent attorney in Israel since 2009. She brings extensive experience in intellectual property strategy, with a focus on patent drafting and prosecution, patentability assessments, and freedom-to-operate analyses.

Dr. Strichman-Almashanu handles IP matters across a wide range of life sciences sectors, including molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, food tech, and plant sciences. She is known for her strong scientific background and ability to translate complex research into robust IP assets.

She holds a Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She also completed postdoctoral research at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the NIH and at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where she also served as a staff scientist.

Prior to joining FIPG, Dr. Strichman-Almashanu practiced at a leading patent attorney firm.
