Dr. Liora Strichman-Almashanu is a licensed patent attorney since 2009, Israel Patent and Trademark Office. She specializes in patent drafting and prosecution, patentability analyses, and freedom to operate opinions in various fields of life sciences, including molecular biology, genetics, immunology, cell biology, biotechnology, food tech, plant biology, pharmaceutical industry, and biomedical industry.

Dr. Strichman-Almashanu holds a B.A. degree in Biology from the Technion, an M.Sc. degree in Medical Sciences/Immunology from the Technion School of Medicine, and a Ph.D. degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After receiving her Ph.D. and prior to starting her career as a patent attorney, Dr. Strichman-Almashanu was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Biotechnology Information (NCBI) at the NIH, and at the Weizmann institute, and a staff scientist at the Weizmann institute. Prior to joining Fisher Friedman IP Group, Dr. Strichman-Almashanu was a patent attorney at a large patent attorney firm.
