Daniel Michaels, Eng
Daniel Michaels is a senior patent attorney with more than three decades of experience in intellectual property law. He advises clients across the full spectrum of patent work, including invention harvesting, patent drafting and prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and strategic IP counseling.
With a degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a practice grounded in physics-based technologies, Daniel takes particular interest in hard-core physics, complex mechanical systems, biomedical devices, and optics. He has supported numerous clients in building and managing substantial global portfolios—comprising dozens or even hundreds of patent families spanning multiple jurisdictions. His ability to develop a deep technical understanding of each client’s innovations has led to long-term collaborations and, in several cases, recognition as a joint inventor.
Daniel is licensed to practice before the Israel Patent Office and has extensive experience coordinating patent strategies internationally, including in the United States, Europe, China, and Japan. His commitment to technical fluency and close client partnership makes him a trusted advisor in both early-stage ventures and established enterprises.
